Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the spokesperson for the government’s negotiation committee and a member of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), made a positive gesture toward the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stating that it would be a good thing if both parties came to an agreement before the latter’s deadline of January 31.
Speaking on Friday’s “Pakistan” show on News, Siddiqui emphasized that the government and opposition should set aside the events outside the “Constitution Room” of the parliament in order to concentrate on resolving political conflicts.
He claimed that unless the PTI presented its demands in writing, there could be no certainty in the ongoing talks between the party and the current administration.
