In a letter, Los Angeles resident Priyanka Chopra expressed her sorrow over the deaths brought on by the state’s devastating fires.
“My heart is heavy for LA,” the Quantico star wrote in the Instagram photo. Even though I’m extremely thankful that my family is safe, many of our friends, coworkers, and fellow Angelenos have suffered greatly. Numerous families have been forced to relocate, and entire settlements have been destroyed by these fires, leaving a huge need for assistance and reconstruction.
Along with urging his followers to contribute to the relief operations, Priyanka referred to the first responders as “true heroes.”
