ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports declared that its Fast Track passport service would be significantly expanded.
The service was first offered in seven major cities, including Quetta, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar. Later, it was expanded to 21 cities. There are now 47 locations providing Fast Track services as the facility was subsequently expanded to cover 26 more cities.
Haripur, Attock, Chakwal, Batkhela, Sargodha, Swabi, Bhalwal, Nowshera, Hafizabad, Karak, Mianwali, Mansehra, Bhakar, Muzaffarabad, Kohat, Mirpur (AJK), DI Khan, Bagh, Swat, Rawalakot (Pooneh), Abbottabad, Kotli, Bannu, Sudhanoti, Hangu, and Bhimber are among the recently added cities.
By offering faster passport processing services in these areas, this expansion seeks to benefit the general population.
