KARACHI: Two youngsters, Aliyan, age five, and Ali Raza, age six, went missing from Karachi’s Garden neighborhood on January 14, and police are still unable to find them.
Authorities have been unable to make a breakthrough despite a number of initiatives, such as the employment of forensic analysis and specialized sniffer dogs.
When Aliyan’s mother, Zainab, discovered her son missing after returning from work, the incident became public knowledge. When she asked, she found that neither Aliyan nor Ali Raza had come home after playing outside. Investigations started when a First Information Report (FIR) was filed.
Two suspects, a man and a woman, were seen riding a motorcycle with the kids toward Lyari in CCTV footage. However, unambiguous identification has been hampered by the low quality of the footage.
