Aspiring pilgrims will now have financial relief thanks to a drop in Hajj package prices announced by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, he said that the price of the 40-day Hajj package has been lowered by Rs25,000, making it Rs. 1,050,000. He was accompanied by Additional Secretary Syed Atta-ur-Rehman.
A third installment of Rs450,000 would be required of pilgrims who choose this package.
The 25-day short Hajj package has also been lowered by Rs50,000, according to Salik, making it now available for Rs1,100,000.
This package’s third installment will cost Rs 500,000.
