LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized that education and youth development were the true investments for uplifting a country when she announced on Thursday that the Honhaar Scholarship Scheme for students will be extended to students from other provinces.
According to a statement, students from other provinces now have to meet the same eligibility requirements as those in Punjab.
While chairing a special meeting for higher education in Lahore, the province’s top executive gave her the all-clear.
She also raised the quantity of computers available to Punjabi students to 110,000 at the conference. The committee also determined to establish a minimum score of 65% in order to be eligible for a laptop in Punjab.
