Ukraine has increased long-range drone attacks into Russia, focusing on oil refineries that support the country’s economy and oil installations that supply fuel for ships, military vehicles, and warplanes.
According to assessments of drone strikes verified by the Ukrainian armed forces and security agencies, the attacks’ increased intensity seems to have begun in December, continued throughout the entirety of January, and is continuing into February.
Although Kyiv has not formally acknowledged them, other attacks have also been reported.
