The reason Kaya Scodelario doesn’t urge her kids to pursue careers in Hollywood has been made public.
The actress, who started her acting career at the age of 14, opened up about her parenting method in an interview with Sunday Times Culture.
The Maze Runner actress started off by stating, “I’m pretty protective of letting my kids anywhere near [the industry].”
“I would never allow them to have an agent as children or assist them in that manner. Scodelario continued, “I would be encouraging, but I would make sure they worked their way up.”
She also talked about her connection with Benjamin Walker, her ex-husband, saying, “We’re still best friends.” We continue to co-parent as we always have.
