ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani Senate unanimously rejected India’s accusations that Pakistan was responsible for the Pahalgam incident in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), calling them politically motivated and without merit.
Presented during the Senate session, the resolution emphasized that targeting innocent civilians is incompatible with Pakistan’s fundamental values and categorically denounced all forms of terrorism.
It also called India’s unilateral suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and its well-planned propaganda effort a violation that might be seen as an act of war.
Pakistan is completely capable of protecting its territorial integrity and sovereignty from any assault, the resolution said.
