According to sources cited by The Indian Express, New Delhi has determined that Abir Gulaal is not deserving of a release following the Pahalgam incident in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which left Fawad Khan’s comeback to Bollywood in jeopardy.
India suspended the 65-year-old Indus Water Treaty (IWT), which distributes vital water between the two neighbors, and accused Pakistan of being responsible for the attack. In retaliation for India’s response to the militant attack on tourists in IIOJK, Pakistan shut down its airspace for Indian planes on Thursday and rejected New Delhi’s proposal to suspend IWT.
Pahalgam attracts thousands of tourists every summer because of its natural beauty. The attack was all the more surprising because violence in the neighborhood had decreased in recent years.
