ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court postponed making a decision in the intra-court appeal against the decision that prohibited civilians from being tried in military courts.
A brief ruling is anticipated to be released this week following the conclusion of the appeal hearing. A brief ruling is expected later this week, according to Justice Aminuddin Khan, who is leading the seven-member bench that is considering the matter.
Mansoor Usman Awan, Pakistan’s attorney general, stated at the hearing that 39 military installations were attacked on May 9 between 3 and 7 p.m. Of these, one was in Sindh, eight were in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and twenty-three were in Punjab. The entire May 9 program was planned and executed with precision.
