US President Donald Trump expressed his hope on Tuesday that the conflict between nuclear-armed India and Pakistan would end “very quickly,” following strikes by New Delhi’s forces and a pledge of reprisal from Islamabad.
In response to a deadly attack on tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the Indian government said it had struck “terrorist camps” on the territory of its western neighbor. Trump commented, “It’s a shame, we just heard about it,” at the White House.
Based on the past, I suppose they sensed something was going to happen. “If you really think about it, they’ve been fighting for centuries and decades,” he continued.
