During Thursday’s VE Day celebrations at Westminster Abbey, Prince William and Kate Middleton honored lost World War Two veterans.
Along with King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other family members, veterans, and politicians, the Prince and Princess of Wales participated in the national Thanksgiving ceremony.
As reported by GB News, the couple’s remembrance wreath was accompanied by a handwritten letter that said, “For those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Second World War, we will remember them.”
It was signed “William” and “Catherine” with no royal titles, according to the magazine.
