On Wednesday, Cassie just carried on with her story, which started with a thumb drive.
Emily Johnson, the prosecutor, approached Ventura on the witness stand and asked her to identify the drive and indicate whether or not she knew what was inside. She came to terms with it.
A second drive was then mentioned, and Johnson questioned Ventura about it as well. According to The Washington Post, both drives include material from the singer’s devices and are initialed to show Ventura has examined them.
She was then requested to see the notorious hotel security tape from 2016, which showed Combs assaulting her in a hallway.
According to her prior testimony, Ventura only tried to leave a “freak-off” early once, during that beating.
