A former member of the Michigan Army National Guard has been arrested by US officials for allegedly attempting to carry out a plan to carry out a mass shooting at a US military base in Warren, Michigan.
The suspect allegedly planned to carry out this act on behalf of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), another name for the Daesh.
According to reports, 19-year-old Ammar Abdulmajid-Mohamed Said lives in Melvindale City. He is accused in a criminal complaint of disseminating information about a harmful device and trying to give material assistance to a foreign terrorist organization, according to the US Justice Department (DoJ).
