Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Earl Spencer, has opened up about what it was like to lose his sister in 1997.
In an interview with Loose Women, he called the whole situation a “great loss” and remarked, “It’s such an amputation.”
Because “these people are your flesh and blood, you grow up with them, and they are with you forever before they leave.”
“Obviously, you expect parents and grandparents to go first, and then there’s the terrible tragedy of children leaving, but siblings—that’s a truly remarkable thing.”
