After tensions between India and Pakistan escalated, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif claimed Friday that US President Donald Trump had been instrumental in keeping the peace.
“The entire nation is standing firmly behind the Pakistan Armed Forces with full strength,” the prime minister stated during a Youm-e-Tashakur celebration held at the Pakistan Monument. Millions of Pakistanis prayed for our military’s triumph on May 10.
“Very few days in history are given — one that is remembered for centuries,” he continued.
