LAHORE: By successfully completing the highest-ever run chase in a Twenty20 cricket final on Sunday, the Lahore Qalandars made history. They won the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 title by chasing down 202 runs against Quetta Gladiators with one ball remaining.
In a T20 final, this exciting win is the first time a team has ever successfully chased a target of more than 200 runs. In the 2014 Indian Premier League (IPL) final, the Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Kings XI Punjab with a 200-run successful chase, setting the previous record for the most successful chase in a T20 final.
After scoring 200, Quetta Gladiators became the first side to lose the T20 final in a noteworthy turn of events.
