According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD) forecast on Tuesday, the majority of the country’s plain regions are expected to experience extremely hot and dry weather for Eid ul Adha.
The four-day Eid holidays, which fall from June 6 to June 9, were proclaimed by the federal government.
The Met Office said in a statement that on June 3 and 4, rain, thunderstorms, and dust storms were likely to occur in the country’s higher regions.
A westerly wave is also expected to hit the higher regions on June 3, according to the weather service, and moist currents are already encroaching on the country’s northeast.
According to the PMD, numerous regions were expected to see duststorms, rain with thunderstorms, isolated heavy falls, and hailstorms as a result of this weather system.
