According to Indian media, which cited sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not anticipated to visit Canada for the upcoming G7 Summit because of the bad relations between Ottawa and New Delhi.

According to the insiders, neither the Canadian nor Indian sides had made any contact with India over the visit. They stated that before a high-profile visit of this nature takes place, the connection must first grow.

Modi would be missing the G7 meeting, which Canada is hosting this year from June 15 to 17, for the first time in six years.

According to the sources, security concerns would also need to be resolved if PM Modi were to travel to Canada.
