RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated on Wednesday that security forces had killed 14 terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as part of continuous anti-terror efforts.
When terrorists from the Indian proxy group “Fitna al Khwarij” were spotted in the general area of Datta Khel in the North Waziristan district, the military’s media wing reported that an operation was carried out. Following a fierce gunfight, the security forces successfully engaged the militants and killed 14 of them.
“Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorist found in the area,” said the statement.
