Robert ‘Bo’ Hines, the executive director of US President Donald Trump’s Council on Digital Assets, recently met with Bilal Bin Saqib, the CEO of the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) and Minister of State for Crypto and Blockchain, in the White House.
Both officials talked about digital asset strategies and looked into how Bitcoin might fit into larger financial systems, according to a press release.
Hines, who was nominated by Trump in January 2025, works with Council Chair David Sacks to establish the United States as a leader in cryptocurrency efforts and plays a key role in formulating national policies on digital asset innovation and regulation.
This high-profile conversation follows Pakistan’s announcement at the Bitcoin 2025 Conference in Las Vegas of its Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR).
