There were more than 6,047,000 donkeys in the nation during the fiscal year 2023–2024. According to the census office, there were 5,938,000 donkeys in the preceding fiscal year.
In a single year, the number of mules also grew by 3,000, according to the census office. The census authorities reports that the number of mules has increased to 227,000.
According to a report, there were 383,000 horses, a rise of 1,000. The census authorities reported a 2,171,000 rise in the overall cattle population.
