The two leaders greeted each other on Eid and talked about measures to strengthen the long-standing relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Friday.
Saudi media said that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar attended the meeting as well.
The expansion of collaboration across different industries was the main topic of discussion. They also went over recent events in the area and the initiatives being taken to improve security and stability there.
In his encounter with the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister conveyed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s proactive involvement in the current tensions between India and Pakistan, as well as its unwavering dedication to advancing peace and stability both inside and outside of the region.
