In the most recent indication of a preliminary reunion between the two men, billionaire industrialist Elon Musk said on Wednesday that he regretted some of the remarks he made about US President Donald Trump last week because they had gone “too far.”
After insulting one other on social media, Trump said on Saturday that his relationship with Musk was over. The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla called the president’s comprehensive tax and spending plan a “disgusting abomination.”
Since then, Musk has removed a number of anti-Trump postings, including one that expressed support for the president’s impeachment.
According to people close to the richest man in the world, he may wish to mend the connection now that his wrath has begun to fade.
