Washington: US President Donald Trump warned of more “death and destruction” following Israel’s deadly raids on Iranian nuclear sites, and he encouraged Iran to “make a deal” on Friday.
“There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end,” Trump stated on his platform, Truth Social.
“Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left… JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE,” he stated.
Trump had earlier told Fox News that he was aware of Israel’s airstrikes against Iran, emphasizing that Tehran “cannot have a nuclear bomb” and expressing optimism that diplomatic talks would resume.
