The Israeli military claims that more than 200 air force jets struck about 100 targets in Iran.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) took to X to claim responsibility for the murders of three high-ranking Iranian commanders: Major-General Gholam Ali Rashid, who oversaw the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters; Hossein Salami, who led the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC); and Mohammad Bagheri, who served as the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.
