In their second game in the FIH Nations Cup, Pakistan defeated Japan 3-2 on Monday at Kuala Lumpur’s National Hockey Stadium.
In order to win against Japan, Pakistan overcame a 2-1 deficit.
In the first quarter, Ghazanfar Ali scored a goal to give Pakistan the lead. However, Kazumasa’s goal just one minute later gave Japan the equalizer.
Japan took the lead two minutes later thanks to a goal from Koji Yamasaki.
Japan led 2-1 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, neither team scored any goals.
