ST. PETERSBURG: President Vladimir Putin has declined to discuss allegations that the US and Israel are attempting to assassinate Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran.
The Iranian people are supporting their authorities in Tehran, he remarked.
US President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that Washington was not going to murder Khamenei “for now,” despite knowing where he was “hiding.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has publicly conjectured that Israel’s military actions could lead to a regime change in Iran.
Putin responded, “I do not even want to discuss this possibility,” when asked how he would feel if Israel were to kill Khamenei with US help. I’d prefer not to.
