KARACHI: According to aviation sources, late on Friday, a loader truck collided with a parked cargo plane at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, causing the aircraft to be grounded for examination.
Initial reports state that a loader truck unexpectedly crashed into the airplane as it was parked in the parking bay.
According to sources, the vehicle’s brakes may have failed, causing the collision.
The aircraft was immediately grounded after the crash while a technical crew started determining the extent of the damage.
