KARACHI: A comprehensive traffic diversion plan for Hazrat Imam Hussain’s central Chehlum procession, which is set for Friday (tomorrow), has been released by the Karachi Traffic Police.
A press release from the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Traffic) Karachi office states that the major procession will start in Nishtar Park and end at Hussainia Iranian Imambargah after traveling the customary route.
From Guru Mandir to Tower, MA Jinnah Road would stay closed due to security concerns.
Other routes — Central District:
In order to reach their destinations, traffic from Nazimabad will be rerouted via Garden from Lasbela Chowk to Nishtar Road.
At Teen Hatti, traffic from Liaquatabad will either turn left toward Martin Road (Central Jail) or right toward Lasbela Chowk.
