Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has emphasized that the nation’s peaceful nuclear sector is firmly anchored in technological advancement and national resilience, stating that military aggression cannot destroy Iran’s scientific knowledge and capacity for uranium enrichment.
In his first in-depth comments since the Israeli regime initiated military strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites earlier this month, Araghchi stated in an interview with News broadcast on Tuesday that “one cannot obliterate the technology and science for [peaceful uranium] enrichment through bombings.”
The remarks follow US President Donald Trump’s assertion that US strikes had “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear sites, which has since been refuted by US Department of Defense assessments.
