In what seemed to be a low-key engagement ceremony, the video, which went viral on Instagram and X (previously Twitter), featured a young woman wearing a traditional printed outfit, wearing flower gajras, and getting bouquets of congratulations.
Assuming that the “Mere Humsafar” actress had subtly announced her romance, many admirers were taken aback—and excited.
But within hours, astute viewers and internet detectives verified that the woman in the viral video was actually Bushra Memon, a blogger and social media star who remarkably resembles the actress. Memon herself had uploaded the video.
