Mehwish Hayat, a well-known actress from Pakistan, has flatly disputed rumors that she has been barred from entering the UK, describing them as “wholly speculative and false.”
Hayat denounced the unfounded rumors, which said that her purported ban was connected to her presence in Indian musician Yo Yo Honey Singh’s music video Jatt Katta, in a message shared on social media. The actress described the allegations as “deliberate false assumptions” and underlined that no such action has been taken against her.
She wrote, “I implore responsible media outlets to confirm such claims before disseminating them.” “Especially when these remarks have the potential to damage someone’s reputation.”
