As he talked candidly about his surprising bond with the artist, Dwayne Johnson referred to Jelly Roll as his “very special friend.”
The 53-year-old actor shared on Instagram on June 30 that Jelly’s song “Only” assisted him in overcoming his mental tension.
Dwayne posted a video of himself holding Jelly with the caption, “Several years ago (roughly 2017) I was going through a very hard thing at the time, I was struggling.”
“My mental wellness turned into my mental hellness,” the Jumanji star added in her post. A lot of you are familiar with the routine; you put on “the face,” arrive at work, smile, and get through it. I was accustomed to doing that at the time, even though it might not have been the best course of action.
