Following the monarch’s Tuesday arrival in Scotland, King Charles hosted an investiture ceremony at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The palace posted pictures from the event to its social media accounts.
The images were shared with the statement, “His Majesty the King held an investiture ceremony at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, honoring remarkable individuals who have made outstanding contributions to their communities and the nation.”
“The King presented honors to recipients from across Scotland, recognising their exceptional achievements in fields including public service, charity, business, sports, arts, and education,” the announcement notes.
