In a strange but legally documented incidence, a local resident in the Dhok Banaras neighborhood of Rawalpindi had Rs 300 worth of naswar (snuff) taken.
A official first information report (FIR) was filed at the Race Course police station as a result of the incident.
Police officials claim that the victim called emergency hotline 15 to report that ten packets of naswar, worth a total of Rs300, had been taken from him.
Police officers responded quickly to the citizen’s call, arrived on the site, and started the legal process. A theft complaint has been filed, and an investigation is being conducted to find and apprehend the offender.
