After storming into a military air station in central England last month and causing damage to two planes in protest of Britain’s backing for Israel, four pro-Palestine activists have been accused.

The charges, according to counterterrorism police, were conspiracy to cause criminal damage and conspiracy to enter a banned area with knowledge of the intent to harm the UK’s safety or interests.

The four, who range in age from 22 to 35, are still being held and are scheduled to appear in court in London on Thursday. According to police, they will provide the court with evidence that the offenses are related to terrorism.

Palestine Action, a campaign group, has claimed responsibility for the June 20 event.
