Five Pakistani players reach Asian Junior Squash Championship semifinals

In Boys U13 event, Pakistan's Sohail Adnan clinches victory against India’s Abhyuday Arora

Five Pakistani squash players secured their places in the semifinals across a range of age groups, continuing their impressive performance in the 32nd Asian Junior Squash Championship.

Abdullah Nawaz put on a strong show in the Boys U19 division, defeating Wong Wing Kuen of Hong Kong in straight sets with scores of 11-4, 11-4, 11-6 to go to the final four.

In the Boys U15 division, Pakistan also performed well, defeating India’s Harshal Rana 11-6, 11-5, 11-7 behind top seed Nauman Khan. Following suit, his countryman Ahmed Rayan Khalil defeated Armann Merzha bin Ashraff of Malaysia with decisive scores of 11-7, 11-3, and 11-3.

Top-seeded Sohail Adnan advanced to the semifinals of the Boys U13 competition with a commanding 11-2.
