According to statistics from National Savings and Topline Securities, the government has reduced the profit rates on the majority of National Savings Schemes, with the modifications going into effect on June 27, 2025, as The News reported.
The 9.5% Standard Savings Account Rate has not changed.
According to a Topline Securities survey, most investors (56%) thought the interest rate will stay at 11%.
But by December 2025, rates might progressively drop to about 10%, according to Bloomberg.
