WASHINGTON: Following photos showing President Donald Trump with swollen ankles and makeup covering the damaged area of his hand, the White House has stated that there is no need to be concerned about the swelling and bruises on his right hand.
Officials clarified that excessive hand shaking is the cause of the bruises, while a common vein issue is the cause of the swelling.
During a press briefing, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt delivered a letter from Trump’s physician, stating that both problems were harmless. She informed reporters that the bruising on his hand was caused by shaking numerous hands, while the swelling in his legs was caused by a “common” vein condition.
