BIRMINGHAM: The Pakistan Champions team is committed to overcoming the last obstacle, and star cricketer Shahid Afridi has voiced confidence that the team would go all the way this year and win the World Championship of Legends title.
Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham is set to host the competition’s second edition on Friday, July 18.
Younis Khan, who guided the squad to the championship game the previous year, has been replaced as captain by all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez.
Shahid Afridi told News when he arrived at Edgbaston for a pregame training session that he thinks the team is well-balanced, with a good combination of young and experienced players, and has the ability to win a championship.
