MANAMA: In Thursday’s semi-final at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain, Pakistan’s seasoned snooker player Muhammad Asif defeated India’s Manan Chandra 4-2 to proceed to the IBSF World Masters Snooker Championship final.
The former global amateur champion persevered, winning the match 4-2, despite dropping an early frame. 118-6, 0-84, 25-76, 92-11, 87-62, and 72-41 were the frame scores.
Asif got off to a great start in the first frame of the match, defeating Chandra 118-6.
But Chandra came back hard, winning the next two frames to reclaim the lead. Asif then won three straight to finish with a decisive triumph.
