Once again revealing his running partner, former US President and Republican front-runner Donald Trump did so after winning his party’s nomination to challenge Democrat Joe Biden in November.
He did not specify who would be the candidate during his interview with Fox News Sunday, but he did provide supporters and observers with clues about the attributes that might lead them to believe that someone would be a good fit.
Given the unpredictability of events, Donald Trump stated that his running mate “must possess the capability of being a good president in case of any emergency” that may arise during his administration.
After he wins the Republican nomination to run for president, there have been rumors that he would run for vice president.
“It’s always got to be about who will make a good president. The 77-year-old stated, “Obviously, you always have to think that, because in case of emergency.”
“You know, things happen. Whatever your identity, life happens. That has to be the top priority, the indicted person declared.
After winning in Iowa and New Hampshire, polls indicate that the business magnate is leading the Republican field, with former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley lagging behind.
