Later this year, in Malmo, Sweden, the 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be held, with the performer Years and Years representing the United Kingdom.
The frontman of Years and Years was named the UK’s representative for the 68th iteration of the singing competition in December of last year.
“My brand new single is coming March 1st!!” Alexander tweeted on Wednesday, along with the song’s name and a picture of himself on a swing.
“I really can’t wait to perform this on the Eurovision stage,” Alexander continued.
Later, he released a 20-second teaser of the song in a video of himself performing it. Danny L. Harle and he co-wrote the song. He was wearing a big orange and brown brooch and pinstriped clothing.
The English pop singer may be seen in the video singing “will you take my hand and steer me” and “won’t you make me dizzy for your kisses” while standing on a balcony.
Alexander hopes to do better for the UK than the 2023 entry when he performs Dizzy at the song contest in Malmo, Sweden, in May.
