LAHORE: On Thursday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz presided over a high-level meeting in Lahore to discuss higher education scholarships and the iPad plan.
During the discussion, the chief minister expressed dissatisfaction with the incomplete briefing and requested a thorough plan for the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) Scholarship Scheme.
She promised to modernize higher education and other institutions, therefore she ordered a student survey for iPad and laptop programs across the province to determine their needs.
She stated that the government will take additional action regarding the laptop and iPad plans based on the needs of the pupils.
“It is necessary to have students’ feedback in this regard.”
Maryam Nawaz further stated that the education sector should not be directionless and aimless.
