Despite the removal of PTI founder Imran Khan from the prime minister’s office in April 2022, after a no-confidence motion against him and the subsequent departure of his government, President Alvi remained in office during the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)-led coalition’s administration in Islamabad.
