After working in Hollywood for many years, Hugh Grant is thinking about changing careers.
The sixty-three-year-old actor, who most recently portrayed Oompa Loompa in Wonka, said to Entertainment Weekly that he is thinking about going into politics since changing careers has “crossed his mind.”
Hugh continued, “It has crossed my mind.” Hugh has even portrayed politicians in films such as A Very English Scandal and Love Actually. However, in my experience, it’s nearly impossible to truly complete any task. It’s just not feasible. It’s imperative that you bring a large entourage along.
He said that the mother of his wife, Anna Elisabet Eberstein, is a politician as well, but she doesn’t believe he’s cut out for it.
In the Swedish Parliament, she had a senior position. She simply says, “Don’t,” whenever the topic is brought up. It’s necessary to dilute everything. It’s all a game of horses. And the abuse that comes in these days is unimaginable,” he disclosed.
Hugh also talked about his “failure” of a 2019 general election campaign in the UK.
