The Forum was held concurrently with the Islamic Development Bank’s Golden Jubilee and Annual Meetings.
More than 2,000 people attended the event from 83 different countries, including representatives of the government, chairmen, presidents, and CEOs of regional and global businesses, financial and multilateral organizations, chambers of commerce and industry, business associations, investment promotion organizations, private investors, and entrepreneurs.
The bank released a press release stating that 53 deals totaling $6,486 billion were inked.
“The 12th edition of IsDB Group Private Sector Forum, taking place this year in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has successfully promoted the integration of the public and private sectors,” said H.E. Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, Chairman of the IsDB Group, in his speech.”The public sector must provide the laws and infrastructure necessary to create a welcoming business environment so that the private sector can boost output and create jobs.” H.E. Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser expressed gratitude to all who attended the Forum, which featured 17 sessions, over 60 speakers, 32 exhibitors, and over 2,000 participants from 83 additional countries. Additionally, he witnessed the signing of 53 agreements worth a total of US$6,486 billion.
