The heat wave that has engulfed the city for the past two weeks has left Karachiites sweating, and during the next ten days, a sharp increase in temperature is predicted.
According to weather expert Jawad Memon, the city’s temperature may hover around 38 to 40°C, which would “feel like” 42°C due to heavy humidity.
He dismissed the chance of rain in the megalopolis for the next five to seven days, emphasizing that the current hot wave in the city will persist and may even witness a rise in temperatures.
Pakistan might have three heatwaves this summer.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reports that the city’s humidity level is 69% and that a breeze is blowing in from the south-west at 19 km/h.
